No you can have a one-off appointment, a registration form will be required before you are seen this will be sent out at the time of booking.

Will this deregister me as a patient from my NHS practice?

No, you will remain as a patient with your NHS practice but can attend our practice whenever you need.

Can I discuss multiple issues in one appointment?

We would recommend using our extended appointment if there are several health concerns to ensure enough time is allowed to discuss and create a plan moving forward.

Are you able to issue prescriptions?

Yes, we can, we charge a small fee for this and then you will take the prescription to your pharmacy of choice.

Do you offer a membership scheme?

Yes, we do. Our membership scheme is designed to help you spread the cost of your GP appointments with exclusive loyalty benefits.

How long are your appointments?

We have two different options regarding appointments; regular and extended. Regular appointments allow a generous amount of time of 30 minutes. Extended appointments are often useful when there are multiple/complex medical concerns/history.

Would I need to register with your practice full time?

No, we would hold your details on our online system to enable us to book you in smoothly when needed. However, you can remain registered with your NHS surgery whilst still using our service.

What is involved in a well person appointment and how does this differ from a regular appointment?

Our well person appointment is a thorough and holistic review of your health and any concerns you may have. It is split into four sections, pre appointment measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure as well as a brief history. You will then be seen straight after by one of our clinicians to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your health. If needed, physical examinations can be done as well as ECGs if clinically indicated. Thirdly, you will have a blood test to screen for a variety of levels, including your kidney function, liver function, Iron, Cholesterol and Vitamin D. One week later, you will be seen by the same GP that you had your initial appointment, to go through any test results and create a plan moving forward.
