Babs Cook has always been passionate about professional standards and delivering the very best service to people. With over 36 years of experience in Social Care, she has worked in a wide variety of roles, including Transitions Worker within the Adult Social Care team, County-wide Assessor for the National Social Care Certificate and Standards, HR Recruitment Specialist, Positive Intervention and Total Communication Trainer, Out-of-Hours Duty Social Worker, and Registered Care Home Manager.
After her extensive career in Social Care, Babs moved into education, teaching Health and Social Care to students aged 16–24 at a local college.
Looking for a change of pace from corporate services, Babs joined Forward Dental Care as Project Manager and PA to Chris Brann Since joining, she has played a key role in transforming Forward Dental Care from a three-surgery practice into a seven-surgery, state-of-the-art facility. Alongside this, she has developed a dental nurse locum agency and co-founded Witcombe Health. Babs lives locally and is a proud mum to two grown-up children. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, meeting new people, and, of course, a good social occasion
