When to Call Emergency Services

At Witcombe Health, we are responsive and committed to your care,

however, we are not a 24-hour emergency service.
If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please call 111 or 999 immediately or
go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

Possible Sepsis

  • Fever or very low body temperature
  • Rapid heartbeat
  • Confusion, disorientation, or sudden changes in mental state
  • Shortness of breath
  • Severe pain or extreme discomfort
 

Possible Stroke

  • Sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body (including face, arms, or legs)
  • Difficulty speaking or finding words
  • Sudden blurred or lost vision in one or both eyes
  • Sudden confusion or memory loss
  • Sudden dizziness, unsteadiness, or collapse
  • A sudden, severe headache

Chest Pain or Breathing Difficulties

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Trouble breathing or shortness of breath
