Susannah is an experienced General Practitioner who has been caring for patients since qualifying in 2002. She began her medical career in hospital medicine before moving into general practice, giving her a broad and well-rounded clinical perspective. Alongside her clinical work, Susannah is a GP appraiser and trainer, supporting the development and standards of doctors within the profession. She has also worked in dermatology at Dorset County Hospital, further strengthening her expertise in the management of complex and chronic skin conditions.
Over time, Susannah’s practice has evolved to reflect her deep interest in holistic and integrative medicine. While firmly grounded in evidence-based conventional medicine, she believes that many chronic conditions cannot be fully addressed without understanding the underlying causes that drive illness. Her approach focuses on identifying and addressing root causes—such as nutrition, stress, sleep, hormones, inflammation and lifestyle patterns—rather than simply managing symptoms.
Susannah is passionate about supporting patients as active partners in their health, empowering them with knowledge and practical strategies for their care.
